Gizmo, Philo and Mini Pearl and her two (suspected) brothers or sons were found in a home after their owner passed away. They were living on their own with visits from family until a rescue was found who was willing to network them to us. Philo is a long-haired Chihuahua. He is 5 years old, neutered and up to date on shots. The three dogs were seemingly neglected and one of the boys was found wearing a radio (shock) collar on his neck. All three were taken to a local veterinarian for health checks and are ready to find loving, forever homes! Mini Pearl is now living in a foster home and we hope to find the boys a foster home soon too. 

Foster Home Report

They are very sweet, and I notice that it is Philo that seems to look to his brother for reassurance before he does things.  He shakes sometimes, just when sitting quietly and nothing else was going on.  They go in the crate when they are tired and snooze there.  Gizmo is just the sweetest, cuddliest little guy.  He absolutely loves to lay in your arms and get belly rubs and give kisses.  He just closes his little eyes and lays back and enjoys.  Philo seems to prefer laying on the arm of the chair, or even the back.

We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.
