Gizzard

ADOPTED! December 23, 2014GizzardSHM

Gizzard is a 2-3 year old, black and rust, Doberman Pinscher male. He was picked up as a stray and taken to the county animal shelter. A family adopted him but only kept him for one day and decided they weren’t ready for a dog. Owning a dog is a huge responsibility and a rescue dog is no exception. Gizzard is a beautiful guy, he’s got natural ears and a docked tail. He is neutered and ready and waiting to be adopted by a loving family. It was reported to us that he is not good with cats but we have not confirmed this information. He is about 75-80# and very friendly toward other dogs. He like people but is a bit hesitant at first but not aggressive in any way.

As we get to know Gizzard more we will update our website and move him into a foster home. Gizzard is up to date on shots, healthy and microchipped.

fosterhomeGizzardSHM_bodyGizzard is seeking a foster home so we can learn more about him and pass the information on to applicants wanting to adopt him. If you would like to foster Gizzard please email our volunteers at foster_coordinators@secondhandmutts.org.

Foster Home Report

Coming soon!

We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or email rescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.

Adoption Fee $250
