Honey is a golden oldie and boy is she a special one. She was surrendered by her owner to a Pennsylvania veterinary clinic, then taken in by a rescue and transferred to one of our committed fosters and we agreed to take her in and find her a home. Honey is as happy as they come, she is eager to please, she loves other dogs, kids, cats and attention! She has some minor medical issues including a skin infection that we are treating with weekly medicated baths, an eye lid that requires entropian surgery and arthritis that will require pain medication to manage her throughout her life. If you are looking for a dog that will be your constant companion and you have the funds to afford an older dogs care and needs please let us know. The seniors don’t and won’t disappoint!
Honey is currently in a foster home with 2 adults and 2 kids (pre-teen and teen) as well as a Flat Coated Retriever mix and 2 cats. She gets long well with everyone. Honey is up to date on shots, she is spayed and her eye surgery will be covered with her adoption as we have not yet set a date for surgery.
If you are interested in meeting Honey please fill out an application or email us. Look for her at upcoming events too!
