Layla

Layla is a one and half year old Boxer mix. She was abandoned at a house by her owners when they moved. Luckily for her, the neighbor is a regular foster parent for us and contacted us about fostering her if we can take her in.

FOSTER HOME REPORT:

Layla is completely house broken (amazing because she was forced to go inside where she used to live). She gets along great with the other dogs in the house and doesn’t show any signs of food or toy aggression. She can be left in the house uncrated while we are at work without having any accidents and without chewing anything. She is a very loveable girl and would make a great companion for someone.

We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or email rescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We are closed on Sundays. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.
