Machi loves other dogs! She deserves a warm home this winter.

Say hello to Machiatto (Machi for short), she is a new family member in our Secondhand Mutt pack looking for a forever home. Machi was found by a local dog warden tied up by a short chain a left in 20 degree weather for days. She had no water, shelter or food. She was taken in, received medical treatment, boarding at a local boarding kennel until she could find a rescue. We were glad to step up and help this youngster. Machi is around 8-10 months old. She loves other dogs. We are seeking a foster home for her while she awaits an applicant to adopt her.

We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or emailrescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We are closed on Sundays. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.

2013 Dog Adoption Fee: $200
Adoption fees cover your dog being fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, spayed or neutered health checked, temperament tested, microchipped and socialized.
