ADOPTED! March 2, 2016
Olga is a 3-ish Bull Terrier Mix female. She is a little chunky right now and working on losing some pounds. She is an active gal with a happy-go-lucky streak. She was originally found as a stray in the Pepper Pike area, taken to the Cuyahoga County Kennel to wait for her owners to pick her up but nobody did. She played well in the counties supervised off-leash play groups and we had room to take her in so we did.
Olga spent some time in quarantine due to kennel cough but has now transferred to a foster home for her recovery. She will be spayed once she is feeling 100% and then place in a forever home. Olga LOVES kids, she is great on walks and would make an excellent family dog. She gets along with other dogs and has a more submissive side to her approach.
We will post a foster home report as soon as we have additional information about her.
If you are interested in adopting Olga please apply online and we will contact you to set up a meet and greet when she’s feeling well.
We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or email rescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We are closed on Sundays. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.
