Pins for Pooches – 2014 Fall Bowling League

Strike out the pet population this fall and help us raise funds for the Secondhand Mutts spay and neuter program. The season starts on Thursday, October 9 at 7:30 PM and goes for 12 weeks (minus holiday off weeks). We will not bowl the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years. This bowling league is a social league consisting of 4-person teams (co-ed), with a handicap. There are no limits on team substitutions.

Number of teams:
Up to 16 (first-come, first-serve)

Cost: $15/week
(includes 3 games and shoe rental)

Play begins promptly at 7:30 PM
Please be in the alley as early as you like and ready to throw your first ball (strike) at 7:30 pm

Rules of the League

• Teams are responsible for $60/week regardless of who shows up (or doesn’t show) – this is a philanthropic league after all.
• Each team will designate a captain responsible for managing subs and weekly payment
• All week-to-week communication will be disseminated to the captains roster
• It is recommended that a team consist of at least 6 to 8 bowlers (to account for seasonal substitutions)
• 1 point/game + 1 point/overall score per week
• Sub-pool roster will be available and manged by our league commissioner. This would be a list of bowlers who either do not have a team or are on a team and desire to play more frequently than their team rotation will allow.

Madison Square Lanes is located in Lakewood Ohio at the intersection of Madison and Hilliard Avenue. Parking is available in the lot off Madison and the lot off Hillard. There is additional parking in the church parking lot across the street from the lanes on Hilliard Avenue. THIS IS A CASH ONLY ESTABLISHMENT. An ATM machine is available.
