Ranger

ADOPTED! September 16, 2016

RangerSHM_car

Ranger is a 3 year old Manchester/MinPin/Chihuahua mix (best guess!). He was picked up as a stray in the City of Cleveland, taken to the City Dogs facility and from there awaited his claim. Nobody came to get him and the longer he stayed the more scared he became. It can be very hard on any dog to spend time away from home even in the safety of a shelter environment. Ranger was posted for rescues to please step in and help and we were glad to have him be a part of our rescue. Ranger is currently in quarantine so we can get to know him and he can get over having a mild cough (common for dogs in kennels).

Ranger is under 15 pounds and up to date on shots and neutered. He has met small groups of dogs and does well. He can be a little shy around certain people (mostly men) but with a common sense approach he will become your best friend and sit on your lap in no time. Ranger has been exposed to cats in his foster home and shows interest but not aggressive interest. He is crate trained and non-destructive.

We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or email rescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We are closed on Sundays. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.

Adoption Fee $200
