Shooter is a one year old mutt. He is probably mixed with a lot of breeds of dogs and our best guess is that he has some Great Dane or Mastiff in there, some Catahoula Leopard and who knows or cares what else! It’s personality that matters and Shooter is a great dog. He and his brother (who we are getting information on to also take in) were surrendered to a shelter in Central Ohio with the owner sighting they could no longer care for the dogs. He is up to date on shots and will be neutered prior to his adoption. Shooter has moved to a foster home and is currently living with two female dogs smaller than he is. Shooter is around 75# and could use a little more pounds around his mid section.
FOSTER HOME REPORT:
Shooter is a happy go lucky dog. He loves to cuddle and play with the toys we have (hedgehog//stuffed veggies). He sits before every meal and loves to take treats after sitting as well. He is house trained, no accidents as of yet. He is very smart and has great potential to be an amazing dog. He has been great with my two lab mixes playing every chance he gets. Shooter has loved playing in the backyard in the snow with my two dogs. He gets on the leash really well and doesn’t pull much at all. Even when he starts to pull he responds to correction very quickly. We do have him in a crate while we are not at the house, but he does great with it.
