Splotch is a Labrador mix who is waiting for someone to adopt him. He is about 7-9 months old, found as a stray in a neighboring community. The Good Samaritan took him in, looked for his owner, reported him missing, took him to Gateway Animal Clinic for veterinary care and then he was transferred to us to find him a forever home. Splotch has the cutest black ink blot marking on his neck, a cute black masked face and a stubby tail. He is about 35 pounds now and we expect he will grow to be around 45-50 pounds give or take a few pounds. He is a little underweight but we are working on putting weight on him with small means throughout the day. He loves other dogs and loves people. He will make an excellent family pet.
Splotch is up to date on shots, neutered, microchipped, socialized and ready to adopt!
We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or email rescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We are closed on Sundays. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.
2013 Dog Adoption Fee: $200
