Puppy_facesSuzi and her sister Rosie were taken in by a sister rescue we work with. Someone was giving them away for free and the rescue stepped in to make sure they would find safe refuge and a forever home. They did not have capacity in their foster network to keep the pups so they were transferred to us so we could help. Both dogs are playful and outgoing just as any young puppy would be. They are both spayed and currently on their scheduled vaccines. Suzi is a little more shy than Rosie but nothing we are worried about – she just has a different personality than her sister.

Both of the girls have moved to a foster home where they will continue to get socialization with adult dogs, crate training and house training along the way. We will keep their profiles updated as we learn more about them.

Puppies are normally adopted quickly and anyone who has put in an application may get preference for matching ahead of a new applicant. If you are interested in adopting please fill out our online application. If you would like to meet Suzi please email us to set up an appointment.

FOSTER CARE REPORT

Coming soon!
Puppies_play

We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or email rescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We are closed on Sundays. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.
