Turtle

ADOPTED! March 25, 2015TurtleSHM_porch

TurtleSHM_outTurtleSHM_eatingRescued from under a porch by a local animal rescue advocate and big time rescue supporter we made room for this 3-4 month old pup. It was no easy task to gain trust for her rescue but patience and kibble did the trick for the team who stood by her side. We are very thankful to Vanessa and Animal Control that she’s now warm and safe. Because she is a stray we need to keep her for 10 days to give her owner a chance to claim her before we can adopt her to a qualified family. She will be available for adoption after March 23, 2015.

Turtle has been moved to a foster home and received her vaccines. She will be scheduled for her spay surgery after her 10-day hold period. She is currently living with two dogs and a baby doing very well.

We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or email rescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.
