Yosemite Sam is looking at you to adopt him this winter! This very balanced, yet playful boy was picked up as a stray in late 2012 by a Good Sam. His finder looked for his owners but nobody came forward to claim him. He was taken to the vet, checked out, cared for and now he’s transferred to our program.
Sam is just under a year old, he is around 45-50 pounds, playful, loves other dogs, loves people, is very responsive to commands and has been exposed to cats. If you are looking for a mutt Sam is a great choice. We believe he would make an excellent family pet and would love to see him placed with someone who is active and can keep him exercised.
We are seeking a foster home for Sam, if you are interested in fostering please email us at fosterdogs@seocndhandmutts.org.
We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or emailrescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We are closed on Sundays. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.
