We are no longer accepting applications for Brooklyn.

Brooklyn was picked up as a stray and taken to the City of Cleveland Kennel, transferred to the County Kennel and then pulled for placement through Secondhand Mutts. He was found soaking wet in a rain storm in Old Brooklyn, his coat in terrible shape and brought to safety in a shelter.

Brooklyn is estimated to be 7 months old, he is under 15# and a perfect little companion. He’s playful and loyal and loves people and humans. He is currently in a foster home and we will have more information on this cutie in the coming days.

We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or email rescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We are closed on Sundays. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.
