Frank is estimated to be around 3 years old. He is an excitable, friendly, German Shorthair Pointer. Frank was a stray in Richland County and wound up at the county shelter before transferring to us. Frank is a large dog, estimated to be 70 pounds. Frank has a insecure personality and it takes a bit of time for him to warm up to you. Once he does though he will be your best friend. He is a very strong walker on a leash and will need some basic obedience. He is a hunting dog so his nose takes the lead on most walks and he does seem to love the critters along the way.
Frank is housebroken, great with other dogs, is very laid back and would make an excellent family pet. We feel it’s in the best interest of Frank to be placed in a home with another dog he can learn from. A confident male or female would be a great match for this guy.

Adoption fees cover your dog being fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, spayed or neutered, health checked, temperament tested, micro-chipped and socialized.
