Ginger

ADOPTED! June 3, 2016

GingerSHM_bag

GingerSHM_bodyfrontGinger is blonde, senior Chihuahua female. She belonged to a woman who dearly loved her but could no longer afford to take care of her. With some intervention through Project Care and Secondhand Mutts she was secured a foster home and took we her into our program. She is about 10 years old, she has a heart murmur, a mammary tumor (we are having removed when she is spayed) but is otherwise healthy and happy. She adores children and is very well mannered in the home. She gets along well with other dogs and she is enjoying being pampered (as you can see by her travel bag) by her foster moms.

Ginger is up to date on shots, spayed and microchipped. She would make an excellent and easy pet for anyone looking for a little dog.

We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or email rescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We are closed on Sundays. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.

Adoption Fee $200
