Valentino, “Tino” for short, was found on Valentines Day digging in the trash for food at a public park in Cleveland. For the last month, the Good Sam who took him in, tried to find his owners but no luck. He had him vaccinated and then we stepped in to help find him a great home.Tino gets along great with other dogs, he’s going on 5 months old, he is neutered. He is very excitable, as most puppies are, and would make an excellent family pet.He has been exposed to cats so this guy can live in a cat home with no problem. His favorite things are tug-o-war and cuddling.

We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or email rescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We are closed on Sundays. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.
