Violet has blossomed in just two short weeks. Foster brother, Hank, is showing her the ropes of how to be a dog.

Here is an update on Violet since she arrived and went into a 2-dog foster home to decompress and learn to be a dog:

Violet, a young Labrador Mutt, has really bloomed since her rescue just two weeks ago. Violet immediately took to the two dogs she is being fostered with, and loves to play, clean and eat with them. She shows no signs of dog aggression, she is simply at a puppy at play. Violet is almost entirely house broken, and has been left at home for up to 8 hours at a time. She has also been to numerous dog parks and plays very well with other dogs. She has shown no sign of aggression with people, she is still timid with the touch and attention of humans, but has learned to “sit” on command (with a treat of course) and has even taken to cuddling on occasion, and on her terms.

Currently, Violet is working on leash training. She has so much love for other dogs, and would be best in a home with other dogs, or a home where she will often be socialized with dogs. Violet needs to move into her forever home as soon as possible, that way the process of bonding can begin! Her sweet eyes have seen a lot, and she is ready for her forever home.
