A wonderful update from former SHM “Curry” who is happily living in Virginia and from the looks of it has a terrific life!

I just wanted to send a few pictures of former SHM “Curry” now known to us as Barley. He is an extreme cuddler (imagine 60 pound lap dog as you can see), such a silly puppy, and we LOVE him…LOVE HIM!!! He is so amazingly happy and sweet, our neighbor (who also has two rescue dogs) likes him so much she constantly brings him new chew toys and nicknamed him ‘Stu.’ I can’t believe he found us! Our first pittie now has an actual dog buddy to play with (she can be quite selective) and he is amazing with our daughter. She loves him (!), always hugging and kissing him. He is truly a family dog and the way he came to us via Facebook, Cleveland Animal Control Volunteers, and then Secondhand Mutts was a true story with a storybook ending. A thousand thanks again for taking a chance on us out of state and for the transport. It was fate!!!
