Cassie

 Cassie was adopted from our organization in 2011 – her former name when she was with us was Woodchuck. Her owner contacted us to let us know she was going through a divorce and could no longer afford to keep her. She arrived and was not up to date on shots so we had that taken care of right away. We are always saddened when the dogs suffer during family crisis, but happy to help find Cassie a new home. We only hope its forever this time.

Cassie is a two year old Elkhound/Shepherd Mix. Cassie is a very intellegent and loveable dog. she gets along great with other people including children. She loves to run and take walks and is used to walking two times a day with her former owner and neighboring dog friend. She has a natural hunting instinct (Elkhound) and likes to chase birds, squirrels, bunnies and cats. This is common for the breed. She is up to date on shots and ready for a new home.

Adoption fees cover your dog being fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, spayed or neutered, health checked, temperament tested, micro-chipped and socialized.
