Chico had a great meet-n-greet today with his new foster mom.

Chico, a heartworm positive Chihuahua, has been staying with one of The Mutt Hutt employees since he arrived at our facility. He is doing really good and will be starting his heartworm treatment in two weeks. We put out a call for a foster home and received a glowing application from Alice. She drove about 45 minutes north to meet Chico today and instantly fell in love. She is going to take him after his first treatment starts and begin the process of fostering with the hope he will be adopted shortly thereafter when he has a clean bill of health.
