Colt

Colt is a 8# Chihuahua mix male that was transported from a California shelter to Ohio (we don’t know the details….just know what his paperwork says) and joined our program to find a forever home. Colt is about 4 years old, house trained, loves people (women more than men). Colt is currently in a foster home learning to be crate trained. He has exhibited some fear of men so we’d like to find him a home where if his owner will work on patience and expose him to men to help him get over his fear.

He is scheduled to be neutered prior to his adoption.

We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or email rescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We are closed on Sundays. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.
