In celebration of upcoming Dyngus Day we’ve named our two new puppies Bigos (polish stew) and Kishka! Don’t miss out on the opportunity to adopt one of these cute Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix pups this spring. They are 6 weeks old (as of March 13, 2014) and doing great in their foster home. Please read up on the breed, these dogs live to work and have an intense amount of energy. They have other puppies to play with and adult dogs to keep them in check. There is even a cat they are being exposed to.
The puppies will be attending Puppy Playtime at The Mutt Hutt Dog Training Center every Saturday at 10 AM until we find them a home. If you’d like to come meet one of them please email us at rescue@secondhandmutts.org. We do encourage interested parties to fill out our adoption application so we can get homes approved and place them quickly so they can grow up in a forever home this Spring.
We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or email rescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We are closed on Sundays. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.
