Sadie

ADOPTED! DECEMBER 14, 2013

Sadie is a beautiful, 2.5 year old Siberian Husky. She is white/silver with blue eyes. She was surrendered by a family member to the City of Cleveland Kennel in late August. The owner told the family member he was going to “leave her at the park” so the family member did the right thing and took the dog in. A few days later after exhausting ideas to re-home her she took her to the kennel. Sadie is reportedly not good with cats, however we have not cat-tested her to make sure. It is not uncommon for the breed to not like cats. 

Sadie is an easy going gentle spirit. She is eager to please and loves to play with other dogs big and small. She would be an excellent family pet. She was on a shy and reserved side when we met her but warmed right up after she was introduced to our pack. Sadie is up to date on shots, and spayed. Sadie has spent some time in a foster home and made herself very comfortable. She is fully housebroken and an easy gal to take care of. 

We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or email rescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We are closed on Sundays. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.

2013 Dog Adoption Fee: $200
Adoption fees cover your dog being fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, spayed or neutered, health checked, temperament tested, micro-chipped and socialized.
