Sweet Tea is a medium sized Shepherd Mix who gave birth to puppies and only one remains to be adopted: Cheesy Fry.
Mama Sweet Tea was picked up as a stray the first week of January in Cleveland, pregnant and ready to give birth. She was taken to the City of Cleveland Kennel and on January 6, 2015 she gave birth to 4 puppies in the garage kennel stall. A city kennel is no place for a mom and her new pups to start their new life so we lined up a foster home for the pack and moved them to foster. Sweet Tea is shy and timid. She is not overly protective of her pups. She is taking great care of them in her whelping box and keeping them warm and fed. Mama and puppies will be available to adopt the first week of March. There are three males and one female puppy.
March Update: All of the pups other than Cheesy Fry (female) have been adopted. Mama Sweet Tea is also still awaiting a forever home to call her own.
We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.
