Coco

Coco was taken in by a good friend, and supporter of our organization. She learned about this dog through a friend, and heard she was being crated for endless hours. She took her into her home, where she has 4 other dogs, but one of her dogs did not like Coco so we took her in. She is an 8 pound Chihuahua, she is white with black spots, very friendly but can be a little shy – this is typical for the breed.

We are seeking a foster home for Coco to stay in while we find her a forever home. She likes other dogs, has been acclimated to our pack at daycare and she is doing quite well. We estimate her age to be around 2 years old. She is crate trained, up to date on shots, housebroken and ready to go!

We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or email rescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We are closed on Sundays. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.

2013 Dog Adoption Fee: $200
Adoption fees cover your dog being fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, spayed or neutered, health checked, temperament tested, micro-chipped and socialized.
