Dobby is about to fly into someone’s life and make them really happy. His ears will find him a great home and the love you will receive from him is powerful! Dobby was picked up by the Cleveland Police and a local dispatcher intervened to take him in to foster rather than he end up at the city shelter. He was found in the winter with no collar in an abandoned area. He was dumped. Luckily he had the CPD on his side and Secondhand Mutts to the rescue! Dobby is currently in a foster home and learning all the tricks of being a house trained, crate trained, well behaved puppy. He is 10 weeks old and up to date on shots. He will be neutered shortly.

We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or email rescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.
