Freya was surrendered to a local animal shelter by her owners who admittedly could not keep up with the needs of a young husky. This breed is known for the ever lasting energy and witty ways of working themselves through any situation including being escape artists. If you have not read about the Siberian Husky please do.

As born pack dogs, Siberians enjoy family life and get on well with other dogs; their innate friendliness render them indifferent watchdogs. This breed is also energetic and can’t resist chasing small animals, so secure running room is a must. An attractive feature of the breed: Siberians are naturally clean, with little doggy odor.

Freya has been exposed to and socializing with other dogs. She needs to work on her boundaries with others (keep in mind she is young and has not been with us very long). We are looking for an active person or family to match Freya up with for her lifetime. A large fenced yard would be amazing.  We are actively seeking a foster home for Freya to move into so we can get an honest reoprt and feedback about her house habits. We know she will need some training and structure (she’s an excitement jumper) however she is very eager to please, very smart and looking for a job.
