ADOPTED!

Information about Katie is coming soon! She was a stray picked up in the Columbus, Ohio area, taken to a shelter and never claimed. She was transferred to a rescue in Cleveland but refused for being flaring her teeth at the other dogs. Given the stress she’s been under and knowing she needed a little time to decompress we took her in to evaluate her and have decided to keep her and find her a home. Katie is a Schipperke Mix as best we can guess. As we get to know her better we will update her listing.

We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or email rescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We are closed on Sundays. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.
