Marigold

ADOPTED! March 21, 2014MarigoldSHM_body

Marigold is a 30-ish pound mutt – we aren’t really sure what she is, she is sort of like a shrunken down Rottie/Shepherd Mix. She was found in Fayette County as a stray and taken to the local animal shelter before being transported north to us. When she arrived she was pretty sick so she has been in our quarantine room sleeping and eating small meals. She went to see Dr. Nicki at Gateway Animal Clinic and other than a pretty bad ear infection she is in great health. She is is about 4 years old, very even tempered and would make an excellent family dog. She will be introduced to our dog pack in the coming weeks and in the meantime we are seeking a foster home for her.

We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or email rescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We are closed on Sundays. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.

Adoption Fee $200
