Miranda

MirandaSHM_bodyADOPTED! August 29, 2015

Miranda was surrendered by her owner who no longer had time to take care of a young Doberman after recently moving here from Tennesee. Miranda is just over a year old  (DOB May 2014), purebred red and rust Doberman Pinscher. She was acquired from a breeder (we don’t know the name of the breeder) and is more of the European style Doberman. Miranda is not spayed but will be soon and before she is adopted. She has been exposed to children and cats. Miranda is up to date on shots and house trained.

Miranda does seem to be 75% blind in her right eye, she is not in any pain. According to Dr. Brian this is something that should her adopter want to have corrected a local eye care specialist could be sought out (we can recommend one) for surgery. Secondhand Mutts is electing not to correct her vision as part of her adoption. We did speak with her owner after finding this information out and they did verify that she was shot by a buck shot.

fosterhomeWe are currently seeking a foster home for Miranda to relax in so we can get to know her better.

FOSTER HOME REPORT

Coming soon!

We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. Appointments must be made in advance to meet our Secondhand Mutts. Please call 216-664-9660 or email rescue@secondhandmutts.org to set up a time. We are closed on Sundays. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.

Adoption Fee $250
