Molly is a playful female Lab/Bloodhound mixed breed dog. Her first birthday will be celebrated on 12/23. Molly was picked up as a stray in South Carolina and taken in by a long time supporter and foster provider of ours who moved to the area. She was returned to her owners and they were unable to keep her. We were contacted about this situation in the summer and agreed to take her when the arrangements could be made to get her north. Thanks to volunteers she arrived and stayed with one of our foster providers for a week until she arrived at our facility.

Molly has the bloodhound tendencies and loves to sniff, sniff, sniff. She will need some basic obedience training like any young dog does. She would benefit from a home that can provide her with activity to keep her busy but overall she’s a laid back dog for her age.

Molly is very outgoing and loves to play. She has been exposed to children and other dogs of all sizes and ages. She is a ready-to-go family dog we anticipating having for just a short time. Molly will be making appearances at our in-store events looking for her forever family to apply and adopt her.

FOSTER HOME REPORT:

Molly is such a sweet and loving dog. She and my three year old are the best of friends. Molly is really good with children and gentle! For the most part she is a good listener. She sits to get her leash on, will drop a toy when i say no drop it, but she is still a puppy and needs some training. We are working on potty training and walking better on a leash. Molly is pretty low energy for a pup but when you get her outside be ready. She’s ready to go sniff everything possible and will take you with her if you let her!
