Piglet is a young pitbull mix searching for her “person” to snuggle up with an spend the rest of her life with. She is a power packed low rider bully weighing 43#. She was picked up as a stray in the City of Cleveland in mid-March and taken to the Cleveland Animal Control and Care Facility for safe keeping. Her owners did not arrive to claim her so she was admitted and put up for adoption. During her one month stay at the shelter she contracted kennel cough, a common illness dogs contract, and she was treated for the cough along with some bloody stools. After two series of antibiotics and ruling out parvo virus her stool returned to normal and Piglet was now really ready to find a home. Piglet attended off-leash playgroups supervised by the staff and volunteers at the shelter and did well in groups of dogs. Shortly after arriving at our facility Piglet was placed into a committed foster home where she is staying with two other dogs, two adults and two children.

FOSTER HOME REPORT:

Piglet lives with two adults, two teenagers, and two 8yr old bulldog mixes. She blends right in, she likes to snuggle on the couch, or climb in your lap, whenever there’s a chance. She meets everyone with a happy tail and sometimes a jump, we’re working on the jumping. She is housebroken, and walks (and runs) nicely on a leash. She likes to be in the same room as the humans in the house, and will follow you from room to room. She is crate trained, but doesn’t need it. We leave her out when we’re not home, she doesn’t have accidents, and doesn’t destroy anything. She knows sit and stay, she does not run out open doors. She enjoys running and playing in the fenced yard too. She’s really just a good girl who’s easy to love.
