Bourbon is a 4 month old puppy that was found by a Good Samaritan and relinquished to the Cleveland Animal Care and Control facility. Knowing we had a foster home ready to host a puppy we were happy to admit Bourbon into our program and find him a forever home. Puppies can be a lot of work and starting their lives off with a good foundation of structure, exercise, good diet, socialization and love is key to raising a balanced dog. We anticipate Bourbon will be a large dog based on his size now – anywhere from 60-80 pounds fully grown.

Please check your Spam folder as our mail sometimes does not make it into inboxes due to spam filters. Please add rescue@secondhandmutts.org to your approved senders list. We are a volunteer run operation and applications can take anywhere from 3-7 days to process. Please notify your references when you list them on our application and give your listed veterinarian authorization to release your current or previous animals records to our volunteers. If you have never owned a pet before please research the breed you are interested in adopting to understand the needs of the breed and list the name of the veterinarian you plan to use if you do adopt.
