Fria

ADOPTED! March 17, 2014

FriaSHM_bodyfria[free’-o, ah]

adjective

1.Cold, frigid

Fria in Spanish means cold or fridid and that is exactly what this little puppy was when she was found outside last week, alone. Luckily for her a family took her in but then kept her int he basement until a Good Samaritan stepped in and asked us for help. We were able to secure a foster home for her which gave us the ability to take her into program. Fria is about 4 months old, she is young and energetic as any puppy would be. She’s met some adult dogs and is having a great time here. She will be moved to foster care shortly and we will have a full report on her in the coming week. Fria is a terrier mix, we estimate her growth to be around 34-45 pounds when she’s fully grown.

FriaSHM_waterFria will be attending Puppy Playtime sessions at The Mutt Hutt Dog Training Center to get socialized with other puppies her age.

FOSTER HOME REPORT:

I’m Fria a 4 month old terrier mix looking for a forever home with you!  I am quite spunky and very affectionate.  Some of my favorite things  (in no particular order) are eating, playing with my 3 foster brothers and sister, giving my foster mom lots of love, cuddling, eating some more, naps, playing again, licking my foster mom until she comes to play with us.  I‘m getting better at chasing a ball and tug of war, I got some stiff competition over here but in a few months I’ll show them!  I’m not house broken yet, but guys, I’ll only 4 months, give me some time.  I’ve been on a few walks but it’s really cold out so I’d rather be inside playing or cuddling with you.  I am good with sharing food, even though I’d rather have every-ones dish and I listen to my foster siblings warnings when I get too close to them eating.  All in all, I’m a fun loving playful gal who’s looking to get to know you better!
