Hank is a young adult Doberman Pinscher. He was surrendered by his owners and moved into a foster home where he is currently staying with other Doberman friends and two adults.

His previous owner registered him with the American Kennel Club (AKC). He was born on December 27, 2016 and acquired from a breeder in March 2017. Hank is a Doberman through and through: he is loyal and attaches to his caretaker just as a loyal Dobe will. He has been to dog parks to run and play and he loves to rough house with dogs he is comfortable playing with. Hank has been exposed to cats in his previous home. He has also lived with children from a young age up through the early teenage years.  Hank knows basic commands including sit, stay, leave it, quiet, potty, walk, here, down, off, paw and go for a ride. He is motivated by treats!

A message from Hank’s previous owners:

“The main reason for needing to rehome him is out of financial obligations. We have had some financial difficulties and not able to give Hank the best care and life that he deserves. With my husband working a lot of overtime and I working 2 jobs, Hank is not getting the proper attention and activity that he needs. We don’t think that it is fair to him to have to be cooped up because of our work schedules. Our hopes that he is able to find a loving family that is able to devote the time to let him run and play and to give him a ton of affection. This decision was not an easy one to make for our family but putting our selfishness aside, he deserves a better life than what we are able to provide at this point.

Hank is up to date on shots, he is microchipped and neutered. He is ready to place as soon as we find a home suitable for his needs.
