ADOPTED! November 25, 2014
Kane is a 6 year old, cropped but one flops, docked tail Doberman Pinscher. He was abandoned at the City of Cleveland Kennel by his owners sister. Apparently his owner left him with family (for unknown reason) and after several attempts by the family to have him get his dog back he never came back to get him so they took him to the kennel. He was there for another 3 day hold to give his owner a chance to get him but he still didn’t show up. Situations like this always make us sad, not knowing what happened, and knowing a dog lost his family. Kane has transferred to a foster home and reports are he’s doing well. He is laid back and will stay in a crate (but it may not be necessary to have him in one), he is house trained and very obedient. We have not exposed him to cats or kids but can do that upon request.
Kane will be neutered this week and he’s fully vaccinated and his preventatives have been administered. We would love to to find him a home where he can relax, go for lots of walks and enjoy his later life in luxury. Doberman experience is not required but it is a preference. Kane is a large dog — around 85 pounds.
