Stark

Stark arrived from the City of Cleveland Kennel, another dog that was “unapproachable” and listed to be euthanized for lack of space. The dogs at the City Kennel don’t have much of a chance unless area rescues take them in and we were more than happy to save this White German Shepherd from certain death. On a whim, without a plan, we pulled him in and are keeping our paws crossed someone will be able to foster him. We have very limited live-in space right now and need all the foster homes we can get. If you can’t foster Stark please consider one of our other dogs and that will allow more room for more dogs lives to be saved. We estimate his age at 2-3 years old. 

As we get to know Stark we will update the website and continue updates on Facebook. At first meeting he was very attentive to human connection and was non reactive dog the dogs at the kennel. We will be socializing him at daycare after he is neutered and has had some time to decompress. 

We are not a traditional shelter, we are a cage-free facility. All dogs are temperament tested and must get along with other dogs to stay here. We prefer to adopt to local families but will consider long distance adoptions.
