Paula, along with Gina, were moved into one of the most experienced Chihuahua handler homes in our foster provider network after spending just over two weeks at our facility decompressing. Since moving in Paula has made huge strides in her temporary home and she is now ready to find her forever home. Her foster providers, John and Melanie along with their own Chihuahua Wynston, have given Paula the guidance and TLC she needed to make this transition. Read more about Paula’s foster report to determine if you are the right candidate to adopt.

Paula is up to date on all of her vaccines, she has a microchip and she has been spayed.

We are currently accepting applications for Paula and Gina.

FOSTER HOME REPORT:

Paula is a very sweet girl.  She is a little timid at first but once she gets to know you she just wants to cuddle and get pets and belly rubs.  She loves food and is a little overweight.  She allows you to pick her up and will go in a crate.  We are still working on potty training.  She will use pee pads but has also had mistakes which is expected for any dog transitioning from home to home.  Those mistakes can be corrected over time.
She is a little older but you wouldn’t know it when you first come home or it is feeding time.  She will tear through the house with such joy and energy.  She jumps up on the couch to sleep and she enjoys cuddling up to sleep at night.  She gets along with other dogs.  She will play with her foster siblings.  She has at times showed food aggressive behaviors so we just feed her away from others.  She is easily corrected verbally.  She is such a delight and will make some owner a wonderful pet!
